In Champagne, ripeness of fruit and freshness of acidity go hand in hand and are married perfectly

It was early March, and from my hotel window I was watching snowflakes slowly covering the square in Reims. I can think of worse places to be snowed in.

I was in the region to visit Champagne Gosset, one of the benchmark producers in the region. It’s a wonderful house creating Champagne in a very particular, rich and vibrant style.

It was my third time visiting Reims and my second time getting snowed...
