Striving to ensure stability

With times increasingly tough in the agri-food sector, the IFA is doing its utmost to ensure the challenges of Brexit and unpredictable weather can be contained, writes Arlene Harris

Irish foodstuffs and agricultural produce have long been synonymous with quality, value for money and ethical farming methods. Our green pastures and unpolluted waters, which are often in stark contrast to the vast factory farms in other countries, produce some of the finest dairy, meat and fish products in the world and a symbol depicting the authenticity of an Irish product is often enough to warrant a sale.
