Scenery, history and culture make Clare a tourist magnet for thousands

Last year was the Wild Atlantic Way’s strongest yet. We had 3.7 million international visitors, 4.7 million domestic visitors and between them they spent €3 billion, supporting over 80,000 jobs along the west coast.

Clare continues to be a popular tourist destination. Eight per cent of overseas tourists to Ireland visited Clare in 2018, making it one of the five most popular counties in the country for overseas tourists.
