Corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to companies taking responsibility for their impact on society and within the local communities in which they are based. It’s a concept whereby enterprises integrate social and environmental concerns into their mainstream business operations on a voluntary basis. The CSR principles and ethos align closely with the objectives of my own department’s mission to build and support vibrant and inclusive communities.
