More than 300 people from renewable energy companies gathered in Dublin last week to showcase and celebrate those paving the way for a carbon-free future in Ireland, writes Siobhán Maguire

Did you know that wind energy in Ireland provided 30 per cent of the country’s electricity for the first time in 2018? And that renewable electricity saved Ireland three million tons of carbon emissions in a single year? This reduction in emissions is equivalent to taking more than 600,000 cars off the road.
