Prolonging Belfast’s tech boom

Dubbed the ‘industrial reinvention’, Belfast’s technology sector is soaring, with 160,000 jobs predicted by 2030, writes Graham Clifford

Northern Ireland's knowledge economy is growing nearly three times faster than the rest of Britain, with Belfast driving much of that rapid growth.

Including indirect jobs, the total contribution from the knowledge economy to the region will be 160,000 jobs by 2030.
