Shannon proves itself a major hub for foreign direct investment with more than 4,000 jobs created in the last three years

Shannon is home to 58 IDA-supported companies employing 5,665 people.

“Companies such as Lufthansa, Molex, Zimmer and Intel manage key functions of global significance from Shannon, while €3 billion in exports alone can be linked to the Shannon area,” said Dennis Curran, the IDA’s divisional manager for regional business development.
