Since its establishment in 2013, the Marine and Renewable Energy Research, Development and Innovation Centre has developed a wide range of successful partnerships, writes Margaret O’Brien

MaREI offers marine robotics test infrastructure at the University of Limerick

The marine and renewable energy research, development and innovation centre, known better as MaREI, was established in 2013 and is headquartered in the Environmental Research Institute (ERI) Beaufort Building in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.

The centre is co-ordinated by the ERI at UCC, and is actively partnered by UL, NUI Galway, MU, UCD and CIT. The partnerships don’t end there.
