The Internet of Things is a term that’s been around for a while. It’s this ever-present, nondescript phenomenon that’s of vital importance, though most of us know very little about it; ‘things’ is an incredibly vague term. Simply put, it’s the interconnectivity of various items, or things, from buildings to mobile devices, through digital technology. This allows these things to collect and exchange useful data.
