Ireland’s economic future hinges on the nation becoming a leader in Research, Development and Innovation – and collaboration between our academic institutions and industry is key, writes Joe O’Shea

Cutting-edge Research, Development & Innovation (RDI) might be popularly thought of as the preserve of the biggest multinationals, an expensive pursuit open only to those who can hire entire laboratories full of world-class minds.
