SMEs suffered most from late payments during economic crisis
The economic crisis has presented significant challenges across enterprise in Ireland, but for SMEs, in particular, the issue of late payments remains of critical concern.
In response to this challenge, business and employment minister Ged Nash launched The Prompt Payment Code (PPC) in April 2015. It sets standards for best practice in payment and is administered by the Irish Institute of Credit Management (IICM).
