Recruitment of graduates with disabilities has improved in recent years, helped by an initiative called WAM (Willing Able Mentoring) from AHEAD (the Association for Higher Education Access and Disability).

WAM is a work-placement programme that aims to promote access to the labour market for graduates with disabilities and build the capacity of employers to integrate disability into the mainstream workplace.
