The New Hanseatic League is an informal alliance of EU countries, a club within a club, to defend regional interests and economic priorities. It comprises eight countries – the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ireland. Stronger together, perhaps. But how strong?
