Harnessing Our Ocean Wealth (HOOW) is the government’s integrated plan for the sustainable development of Ireland’s marine industry.

Spanning 13 different industry sectors, and supported by nine government departments through the inter-departmental Marine Coordination Group, the HOOW strategy sets out ambitious growth targets that will see the value of the ocean economy grow to €6.4 billion by 2020.
