The government’s launch of the Connected: Trading and Investing in a Dynamic World document sets out targets for exports, and highlights why Ireland must intensify engagement with non-British markets

The launch last week of the government’s new Connected: Trading and Investing in a Dynamic World document placed export front and centre in Ireland’s state-led enterprise strategy.

A cross-departmental initiative, devised in the wake of the British vote to leave the EU, Connected sets out targets for Ireland’s exports, alongside foreign direct investment, tourism and international education.
