Duff & Phelps well-positioned to play key role in Irish M&A activity

Last year proved to be a bumper one for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity globally, with the strongest levels of deal making recorded since 2007, before the global financial downturn.

Here in Ireland, where M&A activity had slowed down considerably, deal numbers were back up to 2008 levels and the expectation is for 2016 to be even busier.
