Diversity in the workplace is good for business

A new initiative is under way to encourage employers to focus on the area of social inclusion when recruiting, writes Siobhán Maguire

Last February, a new practical guide was published to help employers tackle social exclusion in the workplace. ‘The Inclusive Employer’, a blueprint published by Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI), a network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and sustainability nationwide, has one simple objective, to create inclusive workplaces across Ireland.
