Callan Bacon is adopting a consumer-led approach to increasing its share of the foodservice market, with plans to treble business within 18 months.

With the fourth generation now involved in the business, Callan Bacon has grown exponentially since it began trading on the main street of Callan, Co Kildare, in 1924.

Now with an ultra-modern and efficient plant on the outskirts of the town, the company competes with multinational companies in the Britain.
