Having grown to achieve a share of more than 50 per cent of the Irish mushroom market, Carlow company Codd Mushrooms has become a significant employer with 250 staff.

The company started trading in 1989, and is owned by brothers Leslie and Raymond Codd. It produces, markets and packs mushrooms for the retail and catering sectors in Ireland.
