Cleaning industry eager to sweep away work permit restrictions

ICCA claims there is scope for a 20-25 per cent uplift in employment as it lobbies Heather Humphreys to remove barriers to recruitment.

Restrictions in employing overseas staff, along with poor availability of affordable housing, continue to hamper the contract cleaning industry’s expansion efforts and have been raised with Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys by the Irish Contract Cleaning Association (ICCA)
