Galway is in rapid growth mode again. Ambitious targets for population growth have been set down in the government’s Project Ireland 2040 strategy which will see the city grow to 120,000. Galway City Council is developing policy and projects that will prepare the city for this future with a significant nod to what has made the city such an attractive place to work, live and visit.
