Builder BAM’s Corkonian roots run deep

The construction business BAM has had a big presence in the city since it was founded more than six decades ago, writes Graham Clifford

BAM, one of Ireland’s largest construction businesses, has had a major presence in Cork dating right back to when it was established more than 60 years ago. BAM employs more than 4,000 people directly and indirectly, and the company’s turnover is expected to grow to €550 million this year.
