Budget 2018: Housing supply measures are a welcome move

There has been a clear shift in strategy, with a focus on addressing the supply side issues

We know that we are experiencing an unprecedented housing shortage. At this stage, it is accepted that the primary issue is the lack of supply of new homes and apartments for occupation and rent. While we will continue to struggle to solve the problem in the short term, the crisis can (and will) be solved in the medium term by addressing supply.
