The finest collection of Irish silver the market has seen for some time will go under the hammer at Bonham’s in London this week.

The Peter Ticher Collection of Irish Silver includes many pieces inherited from his father, Dr Kurt Ticher who with his wife, Ellen, emigrated from Germany to Ireland in the 1920s, settled in Dublin and became naturalised Irish citizens.
