Warring shareholders at Vikings production company agree document handover date

New Vikings spin-off Valhalla may be endangered as bitter legal row between Octagon shareholders continues

A scene from Vikings, which was a huge global TV hit. Octagon, the production company behind it and Love/Hate, among others, is planning a spin-off called Valhalla. But it is in danger of being held up as Octagon shareholder Winfried Hammacher continues a bitter legal dispute with fellow Octagon shareholders Morgan O’Sullivan and James Flynn

Warring shareholders at Octagon, the production company behind TV hits Vikings and Love/Hate, have agreed a date for the handover of documents at the centre of a bitter legal battle.

Details of film tax breaks, legal records and financial statements connected with the multimillion-euro row must be handed over by mid-January 2020, following months of wrangling between the opposing sides.
