UCD’s relationship with China should be reviewed by the university’s next president, according to several high-profile academics and a number of members of the university’s governing authority.
Last week, two UCD professors, David Farrell and Alex Dukalskis, raised concerns that the Confucius Institute, which they claim is effectively an arm of the Chinese government, has been allowed to teach a course on Chinese politics on UCD's campus.
