The Irish economy will record “substantial growth” in 2021 as public health measures are lifted and exports surge, according to a report.
In its Quarterly Economic Commentary for summer 2021, the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) said it expected Ireland’s GDP to grow by a little more than 11 per cent in the present year, with growth primarily driven by the strong performance of the Irish exports sector.
