Marrying form with function, sideboards are enjoying an unlikely revival – even Dermot Bannon’s now got one

Irish TV’s favourite architect Dermot Bannon knows something about interior style, which is why his new home, recently featured on RTÉ’s Room to Improve, now includes a mid-century sideboard.

Mid-century sideboards have become something of a design classic, according to Killian McNulty of the Vintage Hub, who supplied Bannon with the one now gracing his living-room.
