Competition watchdog probes site selling masks and sanitiser

The state’s competition watchdog has launched a statutory investigation into whatadeal.ie, a site that sells hand sanitiser and masks.

The move by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) follows the issuing of an earlier warning made by both it and the European Consumer Centre, an arm of the European Commission.
