Tracworx is a Limerick based company that uses RFID and NFC technology to help companies keep track of assets. Emmet Ryan reports
Tracworx tracks returnable assets that move along the supply chain, like kegs and pallets, to reduce equipment loss and let the client know where the products are at all times.
“We want to move more companies to make their packaging reusable and returnable. We use a combination of RFID or radio frequency identification, and NFC, which is near-field communication,” Chris Kelly, chief executive and co-founder of Tracworx, told Connected.
