Global IT spending to grow despite economic slowdown
Consumer spending decline will be offset by continued strong spend by enterprises this year
Worldwide IT spending is forecast to rise 2.4 per cent to $4.5 trillion (€4.17 trillion) this year, according to a new forecast from Gartner.
While inflation is expected to continue to erode consumer purchasing power and drive spending on devices down, overall enterprise IT spend is predicted to remain relatively strong.
