Greencoat takes 22.5 per cent stake in Butendiek windfarm
The estimated €185 million deal, which will see Germany become the energy company’s second largest market, is expected to close in first quarter of year
Germany has become the second-largest market for Greencoat Renewables, according to analysts, after the Dublin-listed company last week announced it had acquired a 22.5 per cent stake in Butendiek windfarm.
Analysts at stockbrokers Davy estimate the price paid to be in the region of €185 million, with the deal expected to close in the first quarter of the year.
