Greencoat Renewables has acquired a 22.5 per cent stake in Butendiek windfarm in a deal worth an estimated €185 million

Germany has become the second-largest market for Greencoat Renewables, according to analysts, after the Dublin-listed company last week announced it had acquired a 22.5 per cent stake in Butendiek windfarm.

Analysts at stockbrokers Davy estimate the price paid to be in the region of €185 million, with the deal expected to close in the first quarter of the year.
