Glanbia executives enjoy €7.5m share award windfall
Awards come as investment firms bet against the company’s shares in a series of risky short trades
Senior executives at Glanbia, the dairy ingredients company, were granted share awards worth more than €7.5 million at the company’s current share price.
Siobhan Talbot, the company’s managing director, was granted the highest volume of the awards, which will not vest to executives until 2024.
Talbot was granted more than 233,000 shares, which at the current Glanbia share price of just under €12.20 would be worth around €2.9 million.
