When Matt King, the chief executive of the US sports betting company FanDuel, announced his intention to leave the firm in May, it was expected that his departure would delay a potential stock market listing until later this year.
Announcing the news, Flutter, the Dublin-based parent group of FanDuel, flagged to investors that the timing of the mooted flotation of a minority stake in the US betting business would “likely” be affected by his departure....
