Robust demand for warehousing, but supply gap likely in 2020

A shortage of large-scale industrial and logistics investments is proving problematic for investors

As we enter 2020, there is a sum total of 78,000 square feet of warehousing under construction and available to let in the entire Dublin industrial and logistics market. While it is expected that a number of developers will begin speculative construction in 2020, most of these buildings won’t be completed until early 2021, leaving a significant supply gap of quality product.
