Legal limits: Dublin law firms are tight on space

With legal firms in the capital providing less office space per worker than in other international cities, agile workplaces may be the future

Dublin legal firms provide the second lowest amount of office space per employee compared to legal practices in 15 key international cities, according to a survey by property consultants CBRE.

In Dublin, they allow only 15.6 square metres of office spaces, an achievement surpassed only by the Scots, with Edinburgh lawyers allowing only 12 square metres. These figures compare with an average space allocated per person of 21.6 square metres across the 15 cities surveyed in...
