As consumer demand for ‘experiential’ retail as well as food and beverage activity is expected to increase following the completion of Covid-19 vaccinations, Dún Laoghaire in South Co Dublin is hoping to capitalise on this trend.

The county council’s recently published draft county development plan (DCDP) proposes to brand four parts of the town centre as quarters characterised by certain types of retail.
