Covid-19 hobbles development land market’s momentum

A new report by CBRE says 21 development land transactions worth about €100 million were traded in the first quarter of 2020

The strong momentum seen in the development land market during the first quarter of this year has slowed down considerably as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. According to a report by CBRE, about 21 development land transactions worth about €100 million were traded during the quarter.

Meanwhile, agent Lisney said that the greater Dublin area accounted for 14 deals worth a combined €80 million.
