1,800 new data centre jobs over the next year, industry report claims
Majority of roles expected to be created during construction of facilities as well as in operation of centres
Data centre operators and developers expect to hire more than 1,800 additional staff over the next year, a new industry report has shown.
The jobs will be a mix of roles related to both the operation of data centres and construction of the facilities, according to a survey carried out by Host in Ireland, an industry group that represents the data centre sector in Ireland.
