Zartis, a software consultancy, headquartered in Cork, has made it into the Deloitte Fast 50 for the fourth year in a row. The company has been doubling its client base YOY for the past four years and has achieved approximately 50 per cent growth in headcount year-on-year in the same period.

Clients include a number of Ireland’s most established companies, including ESW, Vromo and Fexco. Zartis has been expanding its international presence in markets such as the US, Britain, Germany, Switzerland and the Nordics.

In addition to growing its customer base, Zartis has expanded its portfolio of services. “In addition to our core nearshoring business, we started delivering high-level technical strategy consulting services,” explained Padraig Coffey, chief executive at Zartis. “This came through demand from our existing clients and was a very natural extension for us. We have experts in architecture, infrastructure, QA etc, who are able to deliver high impact through solving strategic challenges for our clients.”

The key to the company’s success is its high retention rate of both clients and employees. “We are a people-first company. We are successful if our employees are happy and delivering great work for our clients. We have made significant efforts to ensure we scale in a sustainable way, preserving our culture and focus on quality,” said Laura Sanchez, chief operations officer at Zartis.

In addition to growing the business, Zartis puts a strong focus on corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company sponsors Na Piarsaigh, a Cork-based hurling and camogie club. They run several programmes to help people in disadvantaged situations gain access to opportunities.

“LevelUp is a programme aimed at helping refugees and asylum seekers in Europe gain access to technology training,” said Coffey. “Last year, we launched Project Connect, which focuses on funding for internet connectivity, which enables access to educational opportunities and remote work. With both initiatives, we work with incredible partners and we are always looking for more, in order to expand the reach and impact.”
