US Ireland summit takes place in newly revitalised atmosphere

Opportunities abound for cooperation on peace, climate change, commerce and technology between the US and this ‘principled, values-driven and feisty island’

Driving conversation about the US and Ireland’s political, business and economic agendas, the US/Ireland Summit took place virtually on July 1. The event brought together business leaders, policymakers, CEOs, board directors and others to discuss issues including global tax stability, tax reform, foreign direct investment, sustainability and Ireland’s role as a post-Brexit ‘bridge’ between the US and Europe.
