Tourism offers food for thought
Galway has been designated a European Region of Gastronomy for 2018 alongside Noord Brabant in the Netherlands.
“This designation is expected to provide an opportunity for stakeholders across the food, agriculture, marine, tourism and arts sectors to showcase Galway as a high quality food-producing region,” said Kevin Kelly, acting chief executive with Galway County Council.
