The CIO Summit took place at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday March 30, with speakers discussing the difficulties in driving innovation in IT departments, the importance of adaptability, security and communication within companies.

In his morning address, Jos Creese, independent digital adviser, analyst and consultant, highlighted the importance of a well-managed IT department, noting that companies with a well-run IT sector tend to have a higher revenue, 10 per cent higher, to be exact.
