The Synthesis and Solid State Pharmaceutical Centre, a world-leading Science Foundation Ireland-funded research centre, is a multidisciplinary academic-industrial collaboration focused on innovating pharmaceutical products and processes, based on three research strands - molecules, materials and medicines. The centre, hosted at the Bernal Institute at the University of Limerick, currently employs 40 post-doctoral and 65 PhD researchers.
