SPI celebrates Oscar nominations

Ireland must capitalise on this success and keep up the momentum

Screen Producers Ireland is celebrating the success of two of its members, Element Pictures and Parallel Films, achieving Oscar nominations for their films Room and Brooklyn respectively.

“The success achieved by Element and Parallel comes on the back of years of developing talent within these companies,” said Barbara Galavan, chief executive at Screen Producers Ireland (SPI), which represents around 120 screen producers across the island of Ireland.
