Musgrave is into its sixth generation of family shareholders, with seven brands operating on the island of Ireland and Spain.
In the company’s 140th year, Musgrave’s chief executive Chris Martin is exploring a new partnership for the business in China, building on its 2016 record sales of stores SuperValu and Centra. Last year, the two brands surpassed retail sales of €2.7 billion and €1.59 billion respectively.
