Data released by the Irish Venture Capital Association (IVCA) in November showed that early-stage companies in Ireland struggle for investment. Deals of less than €1 million were down 7 per cent in the third quarter to €11 million and are 15 per cent lower for the first nine months of the year to €32.3 million.
