Newly-refurbished Connacht Hotel expected to pay off in bull market
The hotel sector in Ireland is buoyant, with cities in particular exceeding expectations. The recovery in Galway is second only to Dublin, and 2016 is expected to be the strongest year from a revenue perspective since 2008 for the city. There are 4,350 hotel rooms in 79 hotels in Galway, of which 358 rooms, or approximately one twelfth are in the Connacht Hotel and its accompanying suites.
