Accounting offers a lot of opportunities, with internships letting people earn while they learn

A new apprenticeship being offered by Accounting Technicians Ireland will create 100 new accountancy jobs when it launches in September.

“This is the first accountancy apprenticeship in the Republic of Ireland and it gives school-leavers the opportunity to get straight into the workforce on a two-year apprenticeship contract where they earn as they learn,” said Gillian Doherty, chief operating officer at Accounting Technicians Ireland.
