While popular opinion sees lack of funds as a major constraint to growth for many start-ups and young, innovative companies, a recent study by the Silicon Valley Bank shows that in fact the primary inhibitor of growth is people, particularly the lack of science, technology, engineering and maths (Stem) graduates with business experience.
